1) Ensure the application area is free of hair.
2) Clean the area with soap and water or an alcohol pad.
3) Ensure the application area is dry.
4) Prepare application site with the prep pad.
1) Locate the blue plastic ampule of water.
2) Remove the cap from the amber vial containing the powder and Add about 1.5 ml of the sterile water to the amber vial (do not add the full contents of the blue ampule of water).
3) Firmly screw the cap back onto the amber vial and shake well to ensure all of the powder is in solution.
1) Remove the iontophoresis patch from its package.
2) With the cap off of the amber vial and held upright; hold the (+) white pad of the iontophoresis patch firmly against the top of the open amber vial.
3) Holding the pad firmly against the open vial, turn the vial upside down and slowly move the vial around the pad to ensure the entire pad is thoroughly wetted with the solution.
4) If any dry spots remain, use a few drops from the blue plastic ampule to wet any dry areas on the pad.
1) Place the patch with the wetted pad on a flat surface and slowly peel off the white backing.
2) Carefully apply the patch to the prepared area of skin, ensuring the adhesive edges are smoothly and completely adhered to the skin.
3) If the patch is applied to an area of the body with a high range of motion, KT tape may be used to ensure good contact is maintained with the skin.
1) Wet the patch with warm soapy water and slowly peel the patch away from the skin.
2) Do not remove the patch while dry.
3) Clean the application area wth soap and water, and apply the included after-care serum or a moisturizing cream or serum to the treatment area after removal of the patch.
4) Allow a minimum of 24hrs between patch application to the same treatment area.
